Pick 'Em Pro Football

Contest Rules

Last updated September 3, 2026

The following are the contest rules for Pick 'Em Pro Football. The website is a simple “Standard” contest to pick the winners of each NFL game, each week.

1. Registering and Submitting Picks

Contestants, “Players,” are able to register to submit weekly picks through the Picksheet page.

2. Pick Deadlines

Picks must be submitted by each game's listed start time. This is an automated process, and no picks can be made after that game's start time — the website administrator cannot change picks after a game has started.

3. Editing Picks

It's recommended that each Player submit their picks early in the week. Players can update or edit any of their picks any time before game time on their My Player page.

4. Viewing Everyone's Picks

Once the first game of each week starts, Players are able to view their own and all other players' picks on the Weekly Player Picks page.

5. Weekly Results

Once the current NFL week is over, each Player's won, loss, and tied totals are calculated and displayed on the Weekly Player Results page. A summary featuring the weekly player highlights and lowlights will be displayed.

6. Yearly Standings

Once the current NFL week is over, each Player's weekly won-loss-tied results are added to their yearly totals on the Yearly Player Standings page. A summary featuring the year-to-date highlights and lowlights will be displayed.

7. Possible Rule Changes

Without changing the fundamental nature of the site's pick 'em contest, minor changes may occur during the 2026 NFL regular season with respect to the contest. One specific possibility: in the Yearly Standings, the currently mandatory 100% of picked games required for the year-to-date total may be reduced to 75% or 80%, permitting Players to miss one or two weeks. Please be advised this may be implemented, but only prior to Week 10 — after that date, no changes will be made.

8. Determining the Champion

At the end of the NFL's regular season, a Pick 'Em Pro Football Champion will be determined by win-loss-tied winning percentage. If two or more players are tied, there will be a co-Champion.
